GreenWood Charter School receives Title I funding and will provide the following to students who qualify as at risk under Title one:

We will recruit and hire highly qualified teachers, including those licensed or certified through
alternative routes.

Retain highly qualified teachers

Support teacher access and acquire necessary professional development and continuing education
that leads to licensing and appropriate content preparation.

Development

Teachers will participate in various professional development activities through the school and state
during the school year:

Mentoring/Training in research based practice

An onsite mentor for all level 1 teachers

Off-site and on-site Expeditionary Learning training

Progress Monitoring & Tier II/III Support

in Academics and Behavior

Students who have been identified in need of intense intervention will be referred to the Tier II and Tier III program and monitored in weekly increments.
Monthly reporting of students to the Student Success team
Academic and other services
GreenWood Charter will offer Tier II and III services to students who have been identified through
Tier I data and/or teacher or parent referral.

Parents have the right to know the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teacher. If you are interested in further information on Title One, reviewing our policies and procedures or are interested in volunteering please contact the school.
